Balance is an agency for project management of complex projects in public spaces (infrastructure, regional development and energy). Balance provides advice, project support and interim services. In 2015 Intersaction joined together with management and employees to invest in a management buy-out of Balance from Hudson, its former US parent company.
BMAir BMAir is a leading manufacturer of filter pressurization systems. These systems ensure clean air in the closed cabins of machines and vehicles that are used in (heavily) contaminated working environments. Intersaction focuses on further international growth building on the strong track record of BMAir.
Flexoclean is a specialist provider of cleaning products and related services for the printers of corrugated packaging, flexible packaging and labels. From its own production and R&D location in Raamsdonksveer, the Netherlands Flexoclean delivers to clients throughout Europe and worldwide. In 2016, Intersaction invested in the buy-out of Flexoclean to further shape the international growth of the company.
Foeth is business trading in used machinery and processing equipment. Foeth has built up an excellent reputation for quality and reliability over its more than 100 year history. The machines, which Foeth buys are held in stock, which allows the company to instantly respond to customer needs. Foeth is particularly active in the pharmaceutical, chemical and food markets.
PQR is an ICT service provider with a focus on strategic IT advice, Hybrid Cloud and Managed Services in the mid to large corporate market. Its focus is on storage, security and workplace management.
Red Point Alloys in Zoetermeer, the Netherlands produces custom-made industrial valves and delivers then to customers worldwide at very short notice. Their customers tend to be in the oil, gas and chemical industries. Intersaction has invested to facilitate the Red Point management buy-in.
Schaffelaarbos is a leading European producer of high-quality feed and food ingredients and active in the drying, trading and processing of products, mainly egg powder.
5W Storage Services is a quality supplier of specialist IT services and solutions for the protection and security of data. The company is active in the design and management of IT infrastructure, mobile data security ("Mobile Security") and storage and recovery of data and systems ("Disaster Recovery as a Service").
Joost joined Intersaction as a partner in 2015 and has been closely involved in the realisation of the growth ambitions of Foeth, PQR and Red Point.
Joost has 17 years experience in private equity and corporate finance. Since 2011 he has been actively participating in Dutch SMEs. He was previously a partner/director at Bregal Investments in London (for the Brenninkmeijer family). Joost started his career at MeesPierson Corporate Finance in Amsterdam.
Marnix has been a partner at Intersaction since 2013 and has been actively involved in the expansion of the activities of 5W, Balance and Flexoclean.
Marnix has 18 years experience in private equity and corporate finance. From 2000 to 2013 he worked for UBS in London and Amsterdam, from 2006 onwards focussing on building up the consulting practice for medium sized Dutch businesses.
Coen joined Intersaction as an investment associate in 2017. He has extensive experience in strategy development, (international) expansion, improving operations and investment issues, notably for Dutch (medium sized) companies.
From 2013 to 2017 Coen worked as a strategy consultant for Roland Berger in the Amsterdam office. During this period he was also the course coordinator of a successful startup programme at Yes! Delft / TuDelft. During his Masters Degree in Finance & Investments (RSM Erasmus University) he completed an internship with Lazard in their Benelux M&A team.
Michael joined Intersaction as an investment associate in 2018. He is experienced in valuing businesses, identifying opportunities to create value, acquisitions and the (financial) understanding of companies.
From 2013 until the end of 2017 Michael worked as a corporate finance advisor at Kempen & Co in Amsterdam. Michael has a Masters Degree in Modern Chinese Studies from the University of Oxford and a Bachelors in History and Chinese from Leiden University.
Wiet is an entrepreneur and investor and has a long history of supporting management teams and businesses. During the last 25 years Wiet has founded several companies and invested in various businesses with a focus on distribution, leasing, food & agriculture and industrial production.
